Some Online Marketing Products

While I don't usually buy online marketing products, lately I have decided to give one a go just to see what was in stock. Generally I'm always open to learning something new though and this particular product has received quite good reviews anyway so I decided to buy it..

The product is called Adsense $100k BluePrint and is about building an adsense powered website online.

When I buy stuff like this it's kind of like buying a book at amazon for me. I pick the type of book that seems to be the most value for the money and also glance at the reviews given to it. So in this sense, the value is in the information and how it can be applied to my own every day life.

So I purchased it through clickbank.

The product itself consists of a 100 page ebook, along with instructional videos (which I frankly have not found very useful) and also two wordpress themes that are optimized for the sake of the example.

I think the greatest value is in the ebook itself though and also in the themes because they illustrate some interesting concepts. Particularly in the sense of ad placement and how the theme is optimized for SEO (with keywords under each article, title links, pages in the sitemat along with other things)

Some things to know: the buying process. Once you complete your secure payment through the clickbank system, you will get an email with the download link. There you can download all the materials included in the package. Once you have downloaded the files, you can use them as many times as you like for your own projects. So that's good.

You can find the product on the purchase page here (look! I even made a nice looking button for you) :-)

I'm not quite sure if there is a refund guarantee. Although I don't think that you would need it anyway. Even if you are not going to work the system on a day to day basis then you will still gain valuable knowledge on some of the ways that you can make money online using the google adsense program.

Personality Types

If you are familiar with the personality psychology then you have probably heard of the different personality tests that are out there. The two that are quite well known are the Big Five and the Myer Briggs tests.

The Myer Briggs test is designed to give you a better understanding of how you are processing data on the inside of your mind. This can tell us a lot about a person and explains for example even how humor works.

The Big Five test is more geared towards behavior rather than internal workings of the mind. So Big Five is useful when you want to explain what people do, while Myer Brigs focuses more on how people think.

By thoroughly understanding how peoples personalities work, we can explain why different people respond to different types of humor.

I personally am geared more towards the intuitive side rather than sensory side and so I respond better to intellectual humor rather than to the more literate humor that we find in shows like Comedy Central.

If you are geared towards the sensory side then you will not quite get the intuitive humor because it relies so much on leaps between meanings. While, if you are very intuitive then you will find sensory humor quite dull and just not funny.

Knowing this helps you be less frustrated when you either feel stupid that you didn't get a joke or if you feel completely unchallenged because you thought that the joke was so obvious that it wasn't even funny..

If you want to find out what your type is, then take this test: MBTI Type Indicator

Lucid Dreaming

Had my very first ever lucid dream tonight that lasted much longer than the ones that I have experienced before. This one lasted more about 3 minutes of dream time.

It has started as I woke up on a couch in the apartment where I grew up. I was holding a coin. The way I knew it was lucid was because I could easily make the coin stick to my thumb when I would let it go after holding it between my thumb and my first finger.

I stood up from the couch and walked into the hall towards the kitchen. I could see quite clearly and the colors were very vivid inside this world. I walked through the hall and wondered what I might be able to do. I did not want to attempt flying on purpose because I felt that the dream was very unstable and that if I would attempt something too demanding then I would wake up.

I've had lucid dreams before, but they never lasted more than a few seconds because the moment I would realize that I was dreaming, I would panic and wake up.

So I decided that I would fix my eyesight inside this dream. So I decided to go to the kitchen and focus my eyes. It worked. I could see sharply. There were no people in the apartment though. I was alone there, much like I have felt when I was little and my mother left me there during the days.

Every time I would look at that coin and let it go, I would be reminded again that I was dreaming. However it was harder and harder to stay lucid with time. It's fascinating how much conscious focus it takes to keep the dream going and how unstable the whole dream world is.

And when you wake up, there is no feeling of awakening like you feel from a normal dream. Instead you just sortof wake up seamlessly into the real world as though your eyes were open as you were sleeping. In fact, I think I opened my eyes while asleep inside the dream when I did the focusing exercise because my eyes felt sore and dry after waking up.

It was a really weird experience..

Creativity

I think one of the most fascinating processes inside a human being is the process of them expressing something in the form of art. The very act of creating something from within.

When we are creative, what we are doing is that we are taking the blueprint that we have inside us and make it into something that is more real. We take the most basic emotions and make something tangible out of them.

For musicians, this type of creativity is usually channeled into creating lyrics for the songs and then playing the music to them. For artists it is the images, the paintings, the photographs that express this blueprint that they are feeling so strongly inside them.

And we can never really feel good about ourselves if we are not creative in some way. Being able to create and doing it on a consistent basis is what gives us a more sustainable sense of inner self-esteem.

We usually tend to feel successful to the degree that we are able to fulfill this creative potential and to create what struggles to come out in one way or another. It's like giving birth to a baby. When pain transforms into pleasure and then into something beautiful..

Creativity Poem

God is what you are to be,
When your thoughts are fully free
Don't be mean and don't you flee
Be what you were meant to be.
